The Abuja Central Mosque witnessed a notable gathering of worshippers and dignitaries during the Salah celebrations, as Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, the Amanyanabo of the Source, formally known as Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari Dabaye-Amakiri I, joined fellow Muslims in observing the solemn occasion.

Dokubo-Asari, widely regarded as a freedom fighter from Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, is known for his longstanding advocacy for resource control and self-determination.

His presence at the prayers added prominence to the event, drawing attention from attendees and observers alike.

The Salah prayers, which mark a significant moment in the Islamic calendar, brought together the faithful in a display of unity, reflection, and devotion.

Worshippers filled the mosque, engaging in prayers and exchanges of goodwill.
An attendee, reflecting on the atmosphere and the presence of high-profile figures, remarked, “When you are blessed, you are blessed”.

If you know, then you really know.”
The event concluded peacefully, with participants dispersing after prayers, carrying forward the spirit of the celebration marked by faith, community, and shared values.
