In a stunning development to lives of young ones, students of Ondo State College of Health Technology received a boost to their entrepreneurial pursuits on Tuesday as an empowerment initiative delivered cash support and vocational equipment to selected beneficiaries.

The programme, organised by The Motun Global Effect, featured a Meet & Greet session focused on encouraging enterprise development among young people.

The empowerment support was facilitated by Ebenezer Adeniyan, the chief press secretary to the governor of Ondo state, used the platform to extend assistance to student entrepreneurs as part of efforts to promote youth self-reliance and economic inclusion.

At the event, five female student entrepreneurs were awarded cash grants to support their businesses, while a male student engaged in fashion design received a sewing machine to enhance his productivity.

Speaking during the presentation, Adeniyan emphasised the importance of supporting youth-driven initiatives.

We must continue to support young people who are making efforts to build sustainable livelihoods alongside their education,” he said.

Founder of the NGO, Motunrayo Oyedele, was commended for her role in promoting youth empowerment through targeted interventions.

Oyedele, who also serves as the official photographer to the Ondo State Governor, has been involved in initiatives aimed at mentoring and supporting young Nigerians.
