As political activities gradually gather pace ahead of the 2027 Ondo State House of Assembly elections, Hon. Samuel Ebijoh Jemi, has continued his stakeholders engagement drive with a visit to Okitipupa, where he met with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Ese-Odo State Constituency hopeful held talks with key party figures, including Elder Patrick Lumumba Ajube and Barrister Eddy Akpo Kpiliboh, among other influential members of the party in the area.
During the meeting, the aspirant presented his policy direction and legislative priorities, focusing on issues he described as critical to the growth of Ese-Odo.
These include infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and improved representation at the state assembly.
Hon. Jemi, while addressing the stakeholders, said his aspiration is driven by a commitment to service and the need to “advance practical solutions to the challenges facing our people.”
Party leaders at the gathering expressed optimism about his ambition, pointing to his grassroots engagement and familiarity with the constituency’s needs as key strengths.
Some stakeholders also indicated their readiness to rally support in his favour as the election cycle approaches.
“We are confident in his ability to speak for the people and deliver on his promises,” a party member said during the session.
In his remarks, Jemi appreciated the reception and assurances of support, noting that continued dialogue with stakeholders remains central to his campaign approach.
The Okitipupa visit forms part of a broader consultation tour across communities in Ese-Odo, aimed at strengthening political alliances and deepening support within the APC.
With early alignments taking shape, observers say the consultations signal an emerging contest as aspirants begin to position themselves ahead of the 2027 polls.
