FRSC REDEPLOYS SENIOR OFFICERS IN MAJOR COMMAND SHAKE-UP
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has redeployed several senior officers to new positions across key commands and departments nationwide as part of efforts to strengthen operations and improve service delivery.
The redeployments, which take immediate effect, are aimed at aligning leadership capacity with operational needs across the corps.
Deputy Corps Marshal Pauline Olaye has been reassigned from the Special Duties and External Relations Department to the Department of Administration and Human Resources at the national headquarters.
Assistant Corps Marshal Godwin Omiko, who previously served as the Corps Project Implementation Officer, has been appointed to head the Special Duties and External Relations Department.
Assistant Corps Marshal A. Sanusi, formerly in charge of Manpower Development and Training, is now the Zonal Commanding Officer, RS1HQ Kaduna, while ACM M.O. Olonisaye, previously Corps Safety Engineering Officer, has been redeployed as Zonal Commanding Officer, RS2HQ Lagos.
Assistant Corps Marshal A. Umar, who headed RS1HQ Kaduna, has been nominated to attend the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
In further changes, ACM J.W. Toby and ACM E. Odiete have swapped commands between RS5HQ Benin and RS11HQ Osogbo.
Assistant Corps Marshal Y.A. Haruna has been assigned to oversee Federal Operations, while ACM A.K. Odeleye-Oladayo now heads RS8HQ Ilorin Zonal Command.
Meanwhile, ACM C.M. Onukwubiri has moved from RS8HQ Ilorin to the national headquarters as Corps Safety Engineering Officer.
At the Corps Commander level, CC F.A. Ogidan has been appointed to manage Command Administration and Strategy.
Additionally, AS Ibrahim and CC A.S. Ogungbemi have been posted as Sector Commanders in Adamawa and Plateau States, respectively.
CC S.E. Dawulung has been named Acting Corps Project Implementation Officer, while CC D.A. Bello now heads Special Marshals at the FRSC national headquarters in Abuja.
The Corps Marshal has directed all affected officers to ensure smooth handovers and assume their new duties without delay, stressing that the redeployment exercise is designed to enhance operational efficiency, coordination, and overall service delivery nationwide.
