Nigeria’s NSA Loses Mother, Hajiya Aisha Mamma

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has lost his mother, Hajiya Aisha Mamma, who passed away on Monday morning at the age of 86.
The late Hajiya Aisha, popularly known as Hajja Mamma, was also the mother of the Emir of Fufore, His Royal Highness Alhaji Sani Ribadu.

Family sources confirmed that she died peacefully after a brief illness.
Several prominent Nigerians have begun paying tributes to the deceased. Among the first was Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani), who described her as “a mother to all” whose wisdom and guidance reached far beyond her immediate family.

According to Binani, “We have lost a pillar of strength. Her life embodied patience, humility and devotion. While we mourn with the Emir and the NSA, we find comfort in the exemplary life she lived and the leaders she raised for our state and nation.”

Funeral prayers and burial rites were conducted according to Islamic tradition, attracting senior government officials, security chiefs, traditional rulers and community leaders from across the North-East and other parts of the country.

The Ribadu family has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers received during this difficult period.
