Students under the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) have commended the Administrator of the Programme, High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Brutu Otuaro, for the swift and seamless payment of their stipends, which they confirmed receiving on Wednesday.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the renewed efficiency under Otuaro’s leadership, noting that the timely disbursement has brought relief and restored confidence in the administration of the Programme.
According to several students who spoke with Arogbo-Ibe Voice Reporters, the payment reignites hope among PAP beneficiaries across various institutions, especially after months of concerns around delayed disbursements before Otuaro’s appointment.
They applauded the Administrator for his commitment to the welfare of ex-agitators undergoing educational training, describing the payment as a clear demonstration of accountability and responsiveness.
The students further urged the Administrator to sustain the pace, assuring him of their unwavering support as he continues to reposition the Presidential Amnesty Programme for greater impact in the Niger Delta region.
