Yewande Roberts, daughter of former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Director, Olatunde Disu, has come forward with explosive allegations against the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya.

In an emotional disclosure to SaharaReporters on Monday, Roberts accused the renowned cleric of sexual harassment, psychological manipulation, and the prolonged seizure of her late husband’s creative materials, a situation she said has caused her years of pain and humiliation.

Roberts, widow of the late MFM youth pastor and gospel music minister, Pastor Tope Roberts, recounted how her encounter with Olukoya began under the pretext of spiritual counselling.

I joined MFM after leaving Islam because I was seeking prayers and guidance for the strange experiences I had from childhood,” she said. “I approached Dr. Olukoya for deliverance and counselling.”

According to her, what started as a search for spiritual help soon turned into something more sinister.

He offered me a position as a transcriber, then suddenly asked me if I was a virgin. I was stunned. I kept wondering why my purity mattered to him,” she recalled.

Roberts alleged that Olukoya subjected her to disturbing physical encounters in the name of prayer.

He told me to come to his office for deliverance sessions. During those moments, he would slap my stomach, press my neck, stick his fingers into my ears, and rub my forehead roughly,” she narrated. “Sometimes, I felt like I couldn’t breathe. But I stayed silent because I knew no one would believe me.”

She further alleged that Olukoya once embraced her in a manner that made her uncomfortable, claiming he “pulled her bra from behind like he was trying to remove it.”

Her late husband, Pastor Tope, was a talented gospel artist who rose to prominence through a music contest organized by MFM. Roberts alleged that after his death, the church refused to release his recorded songs, videos, or even footage from his burial.

They deleted his music ministrations from all their social media pages,” she lamented. “Even the burial photos and videos they handled were never given to me. I have nothing to show my son about his father.”

Roberts said her pain was made worse when some church members began to brand her as a witch.

They called me ‘Emere’ and said I killed my husband,” she said bitterly. “It broke me completely. I went through severe depression and had to start therapy.”

According to her, when she uploaded three of her husband’s songs on YouTube to preserve his legacy, Olukoya allegedly called and threatened her.

He said if I didn’t take the songs down, he would stop paying for my son’s schooling,” she revealed. “I told him I wouldnxv’t remove them. Since then, they’ve mocked me online and called me names.”

The widow also accused M FM ministers of sexual harassment, claiming that one of the pastors living within the church premises tried to take advantage of her.

He told me I looked old and that if he slept with me, I would look younger,” she recounted. “I reported him to Dr. Olukoya, but nothing happened. I eventually left the church apartment.”

She described another shocking experience involving a youth pastor who, under the guise of helping her with accommodation, crept into her room at night and tried to touch her.

He sneaked out of his room and put his hands under my clothes while I was asleep. I woke up in shock and ran outside,” she said.

Roberts also claimed she faced cyber harassment and online sabotage, saying her social media accounts were repeatedly deleted.

They’ve taken down my Facebook three times, my Instagram four times, and wiped everything on my WhatsApp,” she said.

She alleged that even attempts to rebuild her life were met with intimidation.

He asked me to write a business proposal, promising financial help. But days later, my proposal appeared on a blog, twisting the story to say I begged him for money,” Roberts said. “That same day, I narrowly escaped two road accidents — one near MFM street and another on the highway.”

Eight years after her husband’s death, Roberts said her fight for justice and her husband’s legacy continues.

Dr. Olukoya and MFM are still holding on to my husband’s intellectual property,” she stated. “I’ve left everything in God’s hands, believing that one day, truth and justice will prevail.”
