The High Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro Solidarity Movement, Arogbo Chapter, has risen in strong defense of the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, describing him as a “Messiah of the Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom” whose transformative leadership and commitment to the Niger Delta people cannot be undermined by acts of mischief.

In a statement issued on Wednesday and made available to Arogbo-Ibe Voice Reporters, the Coordinator of the Movement, Comr. Jekpo Bundogha Frank, condemned attempts by certain individuals to blackmail and discredit Dr. Otuaro, insisting that such actions were not only unfounded but also a direct affront to the collective aspirations of the Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom and the larger Niger Delta region.

According to the statement, Dr. Otuaro has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership through policies and programmes that prioritize peacebuilding, youth empowerment, skills development, and sustainable livelihoods for ex-agitators and communities in the region.

High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro is not just an administrator; he is a Messiah to the Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom. His appointment to head the Presidential Amnesty Programme is divine, and his impact has already begun to change lives positively. Those attempting to tarnish his image with falsehood and blackmail are enemies of our kingdom and enemies of progress,” the statement read.

The movement stressed that Arogbo-Ijaw people and the Niger Delta at large have a duty to rally behind Dr. Otuaro to ensure the continuity of peace and development, adding that distractions from detractors would not derail his mission.

We call on all true sons and daughters of Arogbo-Ijaw and the Niger Delta to disregard the antics of blackmailers. Instead, let us stand united behind Dr. Otuaro in appreciation of his dedication and sacrifices for our people. We affirm our unshaken solidarity with him and his administration,” Comr. Jekpo Bundogha Frank emphasized.

The Solidarity Movement further noted that history will remember Dr. Otuaro for his selfless contributions, urging political stakeholders and community leaders to resist divisive tendencies and support his ongoing efforts in repositioning the Amnesty Programme for the benefit of all.

With this renewed backing from his people, Dr. Otuaro’s position as a rallying figure and symbol of hope for the Arogbo-Ijaw Kingdom and the Niger Delta continues to grow stronger.
