Frank Agbojule, popularly known as “Sharp,” has been elected as the new President of the Agwobiri Youths Council, securing a decisive victory with 20 votes.
Agbojule besting his closest opponent, Kiya Samuel, who polled 8 votes. Other contenders, Suweighan Kole and Sola Torhukerhijo, garnered 1 and 0 votes, respectively.
The result, announced by the Electoral Committee Chairman, Tunyan Oweiebi, was described as a clear reflection of Agbojule’s broad acceptance among the delegates.
The outgoing President, Mr. Akeke Timibra, is expected to formally hand over the baton to the President-elect in a brief ceremony scheduled to hold shortly.
The election symbolises a new dawn for the Agwobiri Youths Council, as members express hope for a progressive and united future under the new leadership.
